![]() 6 Channel DMX Relay Controller for Installations |
Rail-Switch is a compact and elegant solution for remotely controlling devices that traditionally do not offer remote facilities, such as fog machines or motors, via DMX. The RDM interface allows the start address to be set by a Lighting Console over the DMX512 cable. RDM also allows the product to receive firmware upgrades and run diagnostics tests. In the event that the Lighting Console does not support RDM, Jump-Start can be used to set the start address, (note there are no user controls on the case). DMX512 loop through and termination options are provided. |

![]() Fluorescent Light Control via DMX |
Rail-DALI is a true bridge between architectural and entertainment lighting. The product converts DMX512 to DALI and DALI to DMX512. DMX512 is the lighting protocol of choice in entertainment lighting. DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) is used in an increasing number of architectural applications, usually for controlling fluorescent light fittings. By bridging the two, Rail-DALI makes controlling your house lights from the lighting console, or controlling effect lights through your house lighting system, simple and straight-forward. RAIL-Dali provides four optically-isolated DALI circuits. This allows a total of 256 channels or lamps to be controlled. Multiple products can be linked together to provide a greater channel count when required. The product supports the very latest version of DALI by offering bidirectional data flow. "Back Channel" DALI information on light level and fault status is converted to RDM status information, allowing the lighting control system to monitor light status as well as control their intensity. The control interface uses DMX512 and RDM or Remote Device Management. The RDM interface allows the start address to be set by the console over the DMX512 cable. RDM also allows the product to receive firmware upgrades and run diagnostics tests. In the event that the console does not support RDM, Jump-Start can be used to set the start address. DMX512 loop through and termination options are provided. |

![]() Converting the Digital World to Analogue |
Rail-Demux converts DMX512 into analogue control voltage. DMX512 to analogue conversion has two key applications: upgrading older analogue dimmers and driving fluorescent ballasts, providing longer life for your old equipment. Rail-Demux is an elegant solution to both applications and provides 16 analogue 0-10V DC outputs with DMX512 and RDM Draft V1.0 support, bringing old-fashioned technology into the modern age. An internal trimmer allows the overall output range to be adjusted between 8V and 12V. It is housed in a high impact DIN Rail mounting case. |

![]() The Perfect DMX Splitter for Installed Systems |
Rail-Split RDM is a high specification bidirectional DMX512 splitter designed for permanent installations. It provides input isolation and six buffered outputs. Each output allows up to 32 devices to be connected, while the RDM functionality ensures your installation is ‘future-proof’ and ready for the next generation of lighting equipment. Rail-Split RDM is DIN-Rail mounted for ease of installation. All connections are via screw terminals, offering cost-savings on connectors for fixed installations. DMX loop through and termination options are provided. Rail-Split RDM supports the RDM V1.0 (Remote Device Management) Draft Standard. RDM allows bidirectional communication over the DMX cable. Rail-Split RDM also supports the High End Systems talkback protocol. Rail-Split RDM is powered from a 5VDC power source. |
