Pixi-Flex is a miniature self contained LED colour changer. It is consists of individual pixels moulded onto a cable. Each pixel is individually controlled, and measures just 34mm in diameter with a 17mm lens.

Pixi-Flex uses the latest 'point source' RGB LED technology. The technology creates both an exceptionally bright white light output and an enhanced colour palette with a superior range of pastel colours and tints.

Pixi-Flex is a novel design. It receives power and data via a miniature 4 pin cable. A total of 32 Pixels or 2 Pixi-Flex can be driven from a single cable. The controller, Pixi-Power SB12, can control 5 circuits, 160 pixels in total. Each pixel can be either individually addressed or controlled as a group. Pixi-Flex contains a custom silicon chip that received high speed data from the controller. This allows each Pixel to be controlled at the speeds required for video display.

The click together cabling and light weight nature of Pixi-Flex opens a range of applications. Each pixel can be surface mounted using the integral 3mm thread, or simply push-fit into a suitable hole in almost any structure or cloth. This flexibility makes Pixi-Flex a perfect solution for star cloths, pixilated colour walls and video wall applications. When combined with Colour-Tramp, Pixi-Flex can display live video in real time and merge it with dynamic visual effects.

Pixi-Power SB12 is an integrated power controller for the Pixi-Flex range. Pixi-Power SB12 combines the functions of a power supply and an isolated DMX512-A / RDM interface.
The product can be wall, ceiling or truss mounted.

All parameters of the Pixi-Power, including start address, are set using RDM (Remote Device Management). If your chosen control system does not yet support RDM, Jump-Start can be used for configuration.

Pixi-Power drives up to 10 Pixi-Flex, arranged as 5 circuits of 2 Pixi-Flex, 160 pixels in total. Each pixel can be individually controlled, or arranged as groups. See User Guide for more details.

Pixi-Flex Spider is pre-made cable designed for attaching Pixi-Flex to the Pixi-Power SB12.

The truss mount G-Clamp is available from Doughty Engineering order code SP2703.

Pixi-Flex Spider is a cable assembly for the Pixi-Power SB12. It is used to convert the multiway connector of Pixi-Power SB12 into 5 individual cables for Pixi-Flex.

One end of the cable is attached to a multicore connector compatible with Pixi-Power SB12.
The other end is a spider of 5 circuits of both send and receive for connection to Pixi-Flex.
